Nippy horses
I work on a farm where the horses do not leave their stalls except for being ridden for an hour(?not sure how long it actually is) and being bathed outside. There is no turnout for any horse that is not being ridden (foals, yearlings, etc). There is one yearling in particular that is very nippy and has little to no interest in his hay while I am cleaning and comes over to me and very slowly keeps coming towards me until he bites my hair or clothing then he’ll back away. Any suggestions for how I can stop this behaviour?

and also, why do sometimes think i must be bleeding or something really bad and run to the toilet and then hardly nothing has happened, and other times i think “i’m fine” and then later realise there’s blood everywhere?
